1. Lakes Basin Area - a popular and easily accessible camping destination located at the northern end of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range
2. Quaking Aspen - found here in isolated groves beneath these shimmering volcanic cliffs
3. Wades Lake - a small glaciated cirque with placid mornings and limited camping spots
4. Ferns and Firs - isolated patches of green ferns dapple this stinted landscape
5. Mt. Elwell (7812') - a moderately easy hike to the top where you will discover slick slabs of green volcanic rock
6. Long Lake - this truly long lake (even though this picture does not show it) is easily accessible by motorized vehicles and small watercraft yet still remains pristine and tranquil.
